Guerlain x Philippe Ferrandis - A story of shared passion
When Guerlain approached Philippe for the Cherry Blossom project, he immediately felt a wave of passion. Philippe’s jewelry bears witness to his life, his surroundings and his countless travels.
He saw it as a sign of destiny, and set about creating a ring to adorn the perfume bottle.
The challenge was enormous: to create a piece of jewelry that would synthesize all the expertise of the Ferrandis house, enabling the perfume to become the jewel and the jewel the case.
The beginning
It all began in our Paris workshop, a veritable sanctuary dedicated to the art of jewelry and the nobility of materials.
Philippe worked long and hard to create a ring that would best suit the cherry blossom bottle.
To achieve this, he designed a particularly elegant ring, adorned with two powder-pink enameled flowers in perfect harmony with the color of Cherry Blossom fragrance.
The result is an elegant, authentic jewel, faithful to the unmistakable aesthetics of the Ferrandis house.
Once the cherry blossoms have been sketched on paper, each piece is handcrafted in Philippe Ferrandis' Paris workshops. The metal flowers are carved one after the other with the precision of a flame. Hand-polished to reveal their brilliance, then dressed in 24-carat fine gold, the ring set with white crystals and rosy hues is finally adorned in the most beautiful coat of enamel.

If there’s one theme that has inspired him over the years, it’s flowers, which can be found in many of his creations.
